West Houston Indoor Soccer (WHIS) opened it’s doors in August 2001. The facility is a 30,000 sq ft building which includes 1 soccer field (180 ft x 60 ft) and 2 basketball/volleyball courts.

Hurricane Harvey flooded the building in Sept 2017 and the interior was completely removed and replaced with brand new wood courts (basketball & volleyball) and soccer turf. A new dasherboard (wall) system was added with glass walls for fan viewing.

On January, 2, 2021 Nelson and Kelly Menendez took over ownership of West Houston Indoor Soccer. Kelly is the daughter of former owner Bob Schmitz and grew up at West Houston Indoor Soccer. Nelson started playing here back in 2004 and continues to play to this day. Both Nelson and Kelly look forward to conitnuing to provide a facility for all the soccer, basketball, and volleyball needs of the Houston/Katy community.

WHIS schedules and runs adult soccer leagues.  The adult leagues play in the evenings year round. Teams can sign up and play in the appropriate leagues.

Birthday parties, corporate events and tournaments are scheduled based on availability.
